Write for us

Trusted News Analysis welcomes pitches that help general readers examine news with more precision. Send a proposal through the Contact page, with enough detail to show the question, the approach and why the subject suits our focus.

What we welcome

We are interested in clear explanations of headlines, sourcing, evidence, framing and uncertainty. Strong contributions give readers a reusable way to read a claim, distinguish kinds of sources or recognise what a story does and does not establish.

What makes a good pitch

Name the specific question you want to answer, the central idea and the reader who would benefit. Explain how you would support the piece and what its limits might be. A focused proposal is more useful than a broad promise to cover the news or a list of possible topics.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a short summary and any relevant links or writing samples you want considered. A submission is a proposal, not a promise of publication; do not send confidential material.

Our approach

Curiosity before certainty

A careful read is not a hunt for a perfect source. It is a way to see what a story supports, what it leaves out and where the edges of our knowledge sit.
